About Grainovations

God has given me a lifelong passion for agribusiness and the agro-food sector.  I founded Grainovations, LLC in 2024 to empower companies in grain processing and beyond. My mission is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: through technical and financial efficiency, along with an emphasis on quality and food safety, we can feed more people better. The result is improved lives and increased global living standards.

I am descended from German Mennonites who arrived in central Kansas in the 1880s from Russia (now Ukraine).  They introduced Turkey Red winter wheat farming to the area and as a result, Kansas would become known as the Wheat State.  Wheat is engrained in my being and I'm proud to continue stewarding some of these lands to this day.  This mural in my hometown of Inman, Kansas pays tribute to 150 years of heritage.

Over three decades, I’ve led international capital projects, managed milling and food operations, and implemented enterprise-wide management and technology systems.  My expertise spans technical and financial aspects of flour and feed milling, baking, and other industries.   I’ve had the privilege of presenting and conducting training on multiple continents, in multiple languages.

I can provide tailored training programs according to your needs whether in manufacturing, safety, quality, or management concepts.  My personal belief in education and training and relationship with the IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers) has allowed me to serve as an adjunct instructor in the Wheat Flour Milling Certificate Program at Cowley College (Kansas).

I stand ready to assist your needs in technical milling, dust collection and filtration, grain and ingredient procurement, quality management, project management, financial analysis, and more.  Whether you're a new or growing food manufacturer, a plant manager facing challenges, or an organization seeking strategic insight, I’d be pleased to partner with you to achieve your goals.
